A very long time S Scaler,. . . . . . sold every S Scale nut bolt washer
coupler and piece of rolling stock he had. . . . . . . . 1 of the reasons
cited for the sell decision was the tone of this list that can be rather
negative . . . . . . . .

That simply does not make sense, and no one on this list should feel guilty
for contributing to this person leaving S. At most one drops off the list
if one doesn't like the comments. That may have been one of his stated
reasons, but what else did he give as reasons? What were his real reasons?

In the Modern Freight Car List, predominantly HO, people often state what
they'd like to see made. Those statements don't cause other list members go
drop out of HO. Granted, the naïveté of the opinions expressed here as to
what the magic element is that will suddenly cause modellers of all other
scales to switch to S can be annoying. But it will take a lot more than
that to get a person otherwise satisfied with his modelling to drop out of
S.
