Club Passim is alive and well.

Tom Paxton lives in Alexandria, VA.

Still going strong.

He's still around and still performing (or at least was a few years ago); he
was one of a number of folksingers my dear wife
and I found we shared when we got married (Doc Watson being another, also
still performing and probably about the same
age as Tom Paxton--and Pete Seeger older than both). And indeed I first
heard him at the Club 47 (after it moved behind
the Coop) in the mid-1960's. By the late 1980's the venue had become
Passim, sort of a successor, and that may well be
gone by now. A dollar a head back then, except when Judy Collins performed,
when it was $2.

As one of the local broadcasters where I grew up used to say, if you
remember _____, you're younger with your hat on.
