That is a long time ago - we used to go to the 
Za-Zen (on Symphony Road in Boston) to hear Tom 
Rush. He was still in college back then. And 
coincidentally, Joan Baez's sister Mimi used to 
baby sit for a couple we knew. She married Dick 
Farina and they used to perform at the Newport 
Folk Festivals. Tragically, he was killed in a 
motorcycle accident in the mid-sixties. You might 
remember Jim Kweskin and The Jug Band. They were regulars at the Club 47.

We were living in Melrose (a Boston suburb) at 
the time and took the B&M to the old North 
Station and the MTA to Cambridge. I didn't own a 
car at the time so we had to be sure to get back 
to North Station by midnight for the last train!
