All,

 

I am hoping to connect with someone that has a Sunset Big Boy with the drive
as built and is happy with the way it runs. In my very brief attempt last
night to run it on DC I found the U joints to be amazingly noisy. More work
can and will need to be done. It is not my loco. The test run was brief
because the tender wheels did not want to stay in the centipede truck. The
drawbar is significantly higher then any other tenders I had handy. What a
piece of work...
