Get a dirt brown, or a green. Save on the scenery base colors.

To return to a former thread for a minute..
I cut a few pieces of Homasote today to continue on with my construction. I
had thoughts about getting a flat or semi gloss latex based clear mostly
because I could not think of a color I wanted to see for the next ? long
until scenery gets started. There is an excellent independent hardware store
near me that I frequent.
The clear poly urethane was about $50.00 a gallon. YIKES - so I switched to
plan B which was latex paint. They had a custom mix return even though
custom mixes are not supposed to be returnable that was basically white.
For $5.00 a gallon how could I refuse? I will be slathering Homasote in a
few days!
