"Bell hanger" bits are commonly18" to 96" long, have a hole drilled in one flute on the end to attach the wire being pulled back thru the hole; aircraft bits are commonly 6" to 12". Sold AND used them both. Probably varies by region, manufacturer and user. I had 12" aircraft bits and 36" bellhangers, both on my service truck, for very different purposes.
