I agree with Tom, and would like to add High Rail in on the mix. Offer a car or
locomotive in both scale and highrail versions. I am in both scale and Highrail
with mostly high rail.  I am in the process of changing the coupler on my
s-helper 2-8-0 and be like Brooks Stover and his Buffalo and Gauley
railroad.  Then I will convert some of my stock to scale coupler and still have
the old claw. I would also need a conversion car to run both, Yea I know  high
railhas flyonel for (new) stuff ( big boy and now chalingerand the u-boat. But
threr is aproblem with some of the wheel sets. High railers ARE looking fornew
stuff just ask. My 2 cents worth.

Or at least make it a productive learning experience. Someone in the future
may want to do something similar, and knowing how this progressed (or didn't
progress) could be useful.

How much time elapsed from announcement in this Yahoo group to the date you
gave up? How many firm commitments did you receive via this Yahoo group?

How much notice and what kind of notice did you get published in the S
Gaugian's future prodcts column ? How many commitments did you get as a
result of that notice?

Ditto the 1:64 Modelling Guide?

Ditto the NASG Dispatch?

What other publications did you get it in?

How many S clubs did you mail flyers to? What results did that garner?

How many dealers did you contact directly? What results did that garner?

Did SAL or any other Historic Societies' publications produce any interest?
