Has anyone successfully completed a DCC conversion on a Lionel Mikado? To what
extent (how little or totally) must the electronics in the locomotive and
tender be gutted? Can the lights and smoke unit stay? Does a panel need to be
mounted between the locomotive and tender? Any installation suggestions and
recommended decoders would be appreciated.
