Since I am not familiar with this particular car, I hope I am not being 
condescending/insulting in asking whether you've tried the old remedies of 
shimming the
draft gear down or removing a bit either from the truck bolsters or body 
bolsters or both (or all three)?  
Having built a LOT of O scale cars from many different periods of manufacture, 
I am always delighted when the trucks and Kadees align perfectly without 
tinkering, as that is often the exception.  And I find I need to shim Kadees on 
some of the older production (i.e., PS-2's) SHS cars; in fact, Don Thompson 
includes
shims with his hoppers for that reason, I think also most of his switchers.
