Hi everyone,

my name is Steve Omant, life-long resident of Hobart, Tasmania, a very small
island State off the South coast of the Australian mainland, about as far
down-under as you can go !! (latitude 42 degrees South)

Also a life-long model railroader, after nearly 50 years I have just purchased
my first S Scale items. I have worked in most of the indoor scales (and
outdoor), my first impressions of S scale are very positive. I like the size of
the models, not too big, not too small.

There is very little S scale in my part of the world. Although I do see some
Sn3.5 in local magazines, to me it is a mysterious but interesting scale and I
look forward to getting involved.

best regards from Oz
Steve
