      OK, they are here!  I received my shipment today, and they look GREAT!  
They fit the 1.27" axle NWSL wheelsets perfectly.  The texture is a little 
grainy, but not overly so.  These are plastic, and as such are not overly 
strong and may be of questionable durability.  The brake rod is the ONLY 
support for the brake beams, and as such is a bit fragile.  I may eventually 
replace these rods with wire, or add other supports.



These trucks appear to be a verrrrry close match to the trucks on the NYC car 
on p. 212 of The American Railroad Freight Car by John White.  This truck 
became standard on the NYC in 1876, so there would have been a bunch of them 
out there even on American roads.
