I still consider myself a "neophyte" albeit an advanced one, at least until I 
figure out a quick and expedient way to handle the roof walks on AF boxcars, 
either artistically or physically. Until then, they are "good enough" for me. I 
still contend that AF was way ahead of the curve with scale proportions and 
appearance for its time, even though it was "only" tinplate.

The therapy part I heartily agree with, from personal experience, like you. I 
had to cut back on my antique automobile photography with much regret, and once 
again, model railroading rides to the rescue. Plus, I write this with the 
resident Shih-Tzu, Rusty,(aka, "Rooster") holding down my lap!

Just be glad we're not as old as Ed ("Jones") Loizeaux or Dick Karnes!
