I suspect Bill is a little down about not making it this year, as he generally
attends all the conventions. I had hoped to make it (I know there are a lot of
rail related and other historical attractions in the Sacramento area) but
finances and family obligations prevented it. I generally don't attend events
outside of driving range, so it's less unusual for me to be hearing reports
without being there.

I'm sure Bill, like me, hopes this is a great convention that attendees will be
happily talking about for a long time!
