I don't know how or especially *why* you would think I would even want to "slam" this convention which I did not. Further it is not like anything I post NOW could have any effect on attendance. The Whos in Whoville have sung. Christmas (The convention) is here and it is almost over! Of course I would have wanted to go. The decision was made in November to not go. We got the driveway paved and a salt system & new filter for the pool - among other things - that will be here more so that going on a trip. In short I was mostly commenting on I don't do well in hot weather - no bash on Cali. I did not go to the PRR convention either in Columbus. I am "here for the year" which (As Pieter pointed out) IS very unlike me. That is why I have been mentioning next year - still over a year away. I have to have something to look forward to...
