How many of those, other than the obvious Sn3 and, I'm assuming, the BASS 
layout,  were scale?

All --

The National Train Show (NTS) attendance was 19,579.  The Convention attendance 
is not yet accurately known, but was considerably less (around 500, I think).

There were six S layouts at the NTS:  Boise group, San Diego group, Los Angeles 
group, Bay Area S Scalers (BASS), McKenzie Brothers' Sn3 layout, and a replica 
of a 1946-era American Flyer demonstration layout.
