Fellow S Scalers ...
And just to think that I helped start all this at the Steamtown convention
in 2001.
These were to be "S-Scale Yahoo list Seminars" and they were just that until
I ran into family health problems.
I felt so good that Dick Karnes filled in for me thereafter, even though he
protested.
Dick is one of our finest, most sincere dedicated S Scalers and he has been
in S scale going way back into the 1950's.
I'm also very happy that the Seminars have been continued, although in a
different way.
You know we S Scalers are a difficult bunch to deal with and are never
really a happy group.
We should feel so good that modelers like Dick (Karnes) and others are
willing to step in and help guide the way to a better organization, after
all we aren't getting any younger.
As I told Dick (Karnes) several days ago; Yes, I miss the gang and I miss
the conventions and I miss doing the Seminars.
Things are much better at our home now and I'm hoping that Mary and I will
be at the next NASG Convention in Tennessee, then just maybe, we can get
back to having the Seminars and good fellowship again.
I ask you, please don't make trivia of the S Scalers requests from the
California meeting, they're sincere requests and are well meaning for all of
us.
"S"incerely,
Bill (Fraley)
