I have one I purchased via e-bay a few years ago. I can attest to how fine it is. See it in November at the annual Holiday show in Fort Worth, TX.

The BIN is less than four C notes--not much money by today's standards. These locomotives commonly go for so little, which is why I thought that discussions awhile back about the possiblity of a resin version made no sense: a new version in resin would be in the same ballpark as brass. They are nice models with finer detail and better running mechanisms than the SD40s. But when they came out, they hung around on dealers' shelves forever. Now that we have more modern rollling stock maybe the demand for them will increase? [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
