I suggested that to previous owners of the LaBelle line as an easy revision of
one of their standard
wood cars. Failing a commercial kit, it should not be difficult to
cut-and-paste one--although S scale
kits have been rather less common for wood passenger cars.
Mixed Train Daily has several photos, as does Rails Through Dixie, and the two
volume set by Mallory
Ferrell very likely must (I own them but would need to refer to them to be
sure, but with all the photos
of pre-1960 southern shortlines, there almost certainly must be some).
As evidence of the downside of a past time, they are still an essential feature
of modeling the period
accurately.
Someone has a new publication on the LOP&G, but there is good treatment in the
above titles, as it
was one of the last woodburning steam shortlines, lasting well into the railfan
era. As I recall, Nelson
Blount bought one of their locomotives for his Steamtown collection.
