Well, I come back on a Monday morning and I find you have debated he difference between pasture and field to death almost as much as those elected guys in DC! Me things that Rollie is far a-field!
I grew up in the Dakotas were there was a distinct difference between a field (where things are grown) and a pasture (where animals are kept and fed on what grows there naturally). We always used the term term--turning the cattle out to pasture! Same applies to horses, sheep and numerous exotic animals that are farm raised. I'll shut up now because I see a mine field ahead!
