I agree completely with Dave ????

I enjoy this list because of the s scale and normally friendly nature.  
Veering off topic is not a crime in my opinion as long as there is 
interest and some basis for the veer, like Mike's cow fields.  I found 
that interesting as it shows we really are a country divided by a common 
language.

Now if we start discussing the best brakes for the track for my BMW I 
would consider it off topic unless of course you have a highly detailed 
s-scale BMW M3 with brakes that can be changed.  Not only would that be 
interesting I would be highly impressed by your detailing skills
