If the closure rails are not hardwired to their respective stock rails and 
power is supplied by switched by contacts in the switch machine, by electrical 
switch when the turnout is thrown manually or by contact of the points with 
it's stock rail, then the frog needs only be insulated in the opposing 
direction.  However the clearance between the open point and it's stock rail 
must be sufficient to keep the metal wheels from touching that point.
