I do not recall much on the freight cars, but our Marine troop train in the first week of January 1943 which went from Camp le Juene to San Diego Ca went onto the NC&StL at Atlanta and all the way to Memphis. . Great ride. I was usualy with a brakeman or the conductor. What were their pass. locos?
