Working nights this week... cleanin' up the hobby room and layout shelves. 
Iced tea break.  With the talk of chop shop work (PA thread), thought 
perhaps I'd share a tip with some of you that you may/may not have tried:

To fill/smooth your joints/seams, instead of traditional modeling "putty" 
(i.e. Squadron Green), consider using CA/ACC and 5 minute epoxy, depending 
on the application. Both result is a strong filler that is easily 
filed/sanded.  Also takes drilling when finished.  Used it for years and 
haven't looked back at the Squadron stuff.  I use the CA/ACC to fill small 
cracks/seams, and the 5 minute for larger jobs.  Apply, let it set, use a 
chisel blade to level excess if desired, then follow with the 
filing/smoothing. Works great.
