I thought that some of you might be interested in referencing handouts from
NMRA clinics held recently in Sacramento. Most (all but a couple) of the
clinics I attended were outstanding.

(http://www.x2011west.org/handouts.html) Note-one does not have to be
an NMRA member to access these links.
No one is going to be interested in all of these clinics. But many if not
most serious modelers would find some of these handouts to be of interest
and use.
I attended the convention based on membership to the NASG. I joined the
NMRA last week because I want to be able to access their resources and also
attend future conventions when practical. Somewhere I read that many
clinics were available on video from the NMRA but I could not find them on
their
site. So I sent an email to the NMRA yesterday and was told any clinic
information would be available from the sponsoring hosts. That is what led
me to the website link provided in the first paragraph above.
Its taken me a couple of hours bookmarking the links and getting them in
somewhat of an order. The handouts themselves provide a lot of links to go
beyond what was in the handouts of the clinics.
I am a little disappointed that I have not found any videos of the actual
clinic presentations. If any of you know how to access any clinics from
recent conventions, I would be interested in this information, especially
those related to DCC and signalling.
I hope some of you may find this of interest.
