I find it surprising that no one has mentioned Brooks Stover's, "Modeling
the BC&G's Dundon Shops in Reverse," in our August 2011 NMRA magazine. This
is an excellent article on preparing a scene for Brook's "Prototype Models
Certificate" NMRA Achievement Program which helped Brooks become one of our
few Master NMRA Model Railroaders last year. His BC&G in on the magazine
cover and it also has a five page well done article inside. (Very concise)
The NMRA has been turning out a very fine monthly model railroading
magazine in recent years. Thank you, Brook's!
Regarding conventions; I have never attended a model railroad convention
that I didn't like, or that I didn't learn something new, or that I didn't
make/meet new friends. I haven't made our recent NASG conventions due to
family health problems, but do hope to be at our NASG convention in 2012.
I for one, recommend you going to our NASG conventions, especially if you
are serious about S Scale modeling.
You will never regret it!
