Subject: {S-Scale List} Re: NASG Convention Questions

Following are some of the reasons Chattanooga was selected as the 2012
convention site:

Major center of railroad history

Really cool rail related hotel. It is the restored railroad station with a
number of its rooms in passenger cars. The hotel has plenty of space for
convention activities. For example the banquet will be held in a different
space than the vendor hall so venders will not be rushed to move out of
their space. The hotel is pet friendly.

Numerous attractions covering varied interests. Check out the various
Chattanooga websites

Easy taccess to attractions in town. There is a free electric bus system
that runs from the hotel the length of Market Street to the riverfront with
a second loop to attractions and shops across the river.
Service on Market Street is every 5 minutes.

Everyone we contacted on our site visit was helpful and really wanted us to
have our convention in Chattanooga. We even got a sales pitch from one of
the electric bus drivers.

Hope to see everyone there.
