I still see ex Santa Fe units in the BNSF yard in North Fort Worth.  They are 
getting rarer.

When Greg mentions that an SD-60 as being an ' old girl', that really 
makes me feel really old!  Actually this is sort of telling for our 
scale as it's the newest thing we've got!

I once had the idea of running one each of the engines of the UP 
family--CNW, UP, MP, DRGW, SP etc. but finally realized I would run out 
of money and space on our modules to run such a lash-up!  I think this 
is the only American railroad you could do that with since the BNSF and 
Conrail were entirely new names.  However, our CN and CP friends did 
their buyouts while still keeping the original names.
