   Jamie, I also think the old AM "streamline" trucks with the upgrade of 
Southwind/BTS parts "looks" better. My feeling is the cast in springs look nice 
and heavy and no "air" shows through them. I also like equalized more than 
sprung trucks, a bit more forgiving, but then again trackwork should be smooth 
if running long passenger cars.
   I do have some of the new AM trucks and have put in a spacer beneath the 
journals to make them lower profiled (oops, forgot we are not supposed to 
"profile", politically incorrect!<g>)
   For what its worth, I'm still using the old trucks once sold by Ed. L, they 
work great and roll decently enough. At that time a recommendation by Ed was to 
use Teflon Powder in the bearings rather than oil.....works great!
