Once covered with paint, it is impossible to tell what is underneath.  The 
plastic nose-job strikes me as being a lot easier.  Then again, it is no longer 
a pure brass model.  Some would think we are both crazy, but I am less crazy (I 
think).  "S"miles....Ed L.
