Daniel,

To my knowledge there are two sources of "S scale" bricks, and possibly more
that I don't know of.

The first, and easiest to use in the context of a styrene-built structure is
the Plastruct part #91605, erroneously marked as "HO" scale. This actually
measures out to 8.8" per brick (1 3/8" for 10 bricks) wide by 3.2" per brick
(just under 1/2" for 10 bricks) high. This is definitely too big for HO, and
in my use is just fine for S, although it is admittedly about 10% over scale.
This is ABS, NOT polystyrene, so you have to use a glue that will adhere ABS to
your structure base. I think Plastruct cement will work, although I haven't
actually used it in decades.

The second material for S scale bricks is printed paper brick sheet. There are
a few sources for this around, and one was only recently mentioned in this
group, although I did not save the webpage. I'll have to look it up. This
site has several styles of brick, along with cement block, metal siding,
concrete, and a few other textures, that you can download and print out on your
own printer. If you do that, I would suggest overspraying the printed sheet
with a lacquer to help prevent bleeding. Testor's Dullcoat is one option for
that. Now I have to go hunt up that website.... You can also google images
for brick texture and come up with your own imaging, which you will need to
photo edit with your favorite program to get a large enough sheet of the right
size brick, in the color you want. Some sites, like the one I mentioned above,
have already done that work for you.

A third possibility in material is plaster. As far as I know this is not
commercially available. However, I myself have taken the Plastruct sheet, made
a rubber mold of it, and cast plaster wall sections from that. Obviously you
can't sell that, but it is definitely doable for the capable modeler.

Now I go a-hunting. Will check back soon. I hope.
