So, for clarification...is the Sunset SP loco still "on" or cancelled...
The O scale mogul is very nice...had one in my hand at the Chicago show.

Subject: {S-Scale List} Re: Sunset SP Mogul

Sunset produced an "O" scale SP mogul and Glacier Park produced an "O" Scale SP
mogul. These are the "O" Scale models and not, "3 Rail"
Yes, I ordered one each of the SP Pacific's. Most of the S Scale community did
not order them. The Korean builder has his head in the place where the sun does
not shine. He is still living in the past where it was common to require a run
of 400 models, for each version That would be 800 total! I do believe that
Scott talked him down in the minimum quantity required but I would not be
surprised that it was still in the neighborhood of 400 models. That just isn't
going to happen in s scale unless the price is around $200 or less a model. I
just bought an AF pacific 283 in really nice shape for $90 and an early 300 AC
Atlantic for $35. I did let the AF NKP 0-8-0 pass, it was $300

When Mort wanted to do the Pioneer Zephyr his builder, SKI wanted a run of 400
minimum, but then it was also only going to be around $400 dealer cost. That
was a time when Mort had a large dealer network and most of them just said they
were not interested in handling any S Scale.

I think when you are successfully importing "O" scale passenger cars, selling
them, by the hundreds it is hard to wrap your mind around a run of anything in
small quantities.
