Yes John, you then have seen me from the neck down.  On the other hand 
all that extra "belly" ballast keeps me from tipping over when I lift 
those heavy modules!  I don't think the type of rail used is important 
but perhaps the lighter Woodland's Scenic walnut type ballast might be 
better than the Arizona real rock type.  After all a few pounds of real 
rock ballast is a few pounds we have to carry around.  I haven't done a 
final weight measurement of the two units I built, but I suspect we're 
right at 30 lbs for a 6' length, while our older units are likely twice 
that weight.
