Ah, Dave, Cave Springs IS my family’s resort, and yes, the fridges are on the
back porch—although I hear nowadays they sometimes get raided. There’s no room
inside for them, so I don’t know what Louie will do. Originally they were
iceboxes on the front porch.
But good point, mostly Dunsmuir still is in a time warp. . . . .
Now if only that warp included cab forwards shaking the walls (mom never could
keep a picture straight on the wall). Unfortunately that’s one thing I don’t
remember!
