At this years convention, we had a speaker who is a consultant to a number of
model train manufactures. He mentioned that most of them monitor various Yahoo
groups and the on thing that irritates them the most is criticism of their
product before you contact them to determine if there really is a problem. We
tend to think of this as a private discussion group, but we all know or should
know that anything on the internet is anything but private. We might want to
make sure we know what we are talking about before we post it.
