Bill & All,

As Ed mentioned it is quite the job decaling the containers correctly. There
is lettering on all 4 sides. Doing it right is a LOT of small decals. In a
similar car here is a O Scale FM with containers I did a while back.

If you are doing a gondola you could cheat a bit and only decal the exposed
container walls. From what I have seen the containers were just thrown in
the gondolas without restraint of any kind. Maybe they started out with some
wood bracing in the bottom but it seemingly did not stay that way forever.

As mentioned when I started the container project S container decals
**could** be available. They are not even a firm project right now. Only a
few people replied to John http://www.mountvernonshops.com back then. I
have no current plans of sponsoring S decals all by myself. I actually
referred the decal sales to John anyway. When John comes to pick up his HO
containers soon I will ask about S decals again. I am pretty sure he has the
HO decals already done. Much more interest needs to be shown to make the S
decals happen.

Thank You,
Bill Lane
