Hi all --
This week was tied up with other endeavors, but a bit of model railroading in
scale S did take place. There is now an elevated diesel fuel tank as part of
the loco servicing area. Additionally, the whole of the area near the
industrial NE section of the railroad saw some surface elevation and land form
installed, raising the freight house and oil tanks above the track in the area.
The oil tanks got painted, but the Krylon I used gave a very rough surface,
and I am considering stripping them and repainting. I also started work on a
BTS crossing shanty, though it will be used with the diesel fueling tank (I
hardly ever use things as they are intended!).
I hope some of you also got to play with your trains.
Have fun!
