Something like--the only thing to fear is fear itself!

I think it all depends on how your mind is organized (or in my case 
un-organized).  My DCC system worked extremely well until about two 
weeks ago.  It has to be a short of some kind, so that would also be 
around with straight DC or even AC.

Personally I would stay with DC if it works for you.  However, if you 
long for more control, more possibilities and some pretty good sound the 
change would be good.  There certainly is a learning curve and just like 
anything in a similar electronic mode, the curve seems to be changing 
with every update or upgrade.
