True, Pieter.  Also, I saw 3-axle tenders in stores that had the center axle 
missing; including Trost Hobbies in Chicago in ~1964 which had 4 different AF 
locos in a showcase, all with the same 4-axle tender, like a Hudson, Pacific, 
K-5, and Atlantic.   Did we mention the AF catalog where the GP-7 was shown had 
it equipped with 
PA sideframes.  The closest to that was prototype C&O SD-24 units were 
delivered with Alco tri-mount trucks from old RSD-5s. .
