with attitudes like that, "S" scale will die.   Not all are old,  I'm mid 30's 
and hope to have many decades left to model,  in "S", because it goes along 
with my other hobbies, or 1/64th Farm Toys & Trucks.  Remember 1/64th scale is 
by far, the most popular scale to collect,  but the different factions of the 
hobbies refuse to work together, it is sad.  Remember the Movie "Field of 
Dreams"    "If you build it they will come"?  it applies here,  if the product 
is available the buyer is more likely to by it, if it is not available,  
Guaranteed, it will not sell.......
