Ed, I'm sorry, it didn't attach like a "reply" used to on here.

I'll stitch it together.

"S scale may not be dead, but in looking at the results of the age poll, most
of its practitioners will be within 20 years or so. I could use about 100
couplers myself, but I couldn't in good faith recommend that he make any heavy
investment in an S coupler."

my response....

David, et al,

with attitudes like that, "S" scale will die. Not all are old, I'm mid 30's and
hope to have many decades left to model, in "S", because it goes along with my
other hobbies, or 1/64th Farm Toys & Trucks. Remember 1/64th scale is by far,
the most popular scale to collect, but the different factions of the hobbies
refuse to work together, it is sad. Remember the Movie "Field of Dreams" "If
you build it they will come"? it applies here, if the product is available the
buyer is more likely to by it, if it is not available, Guaranteed, it will not
sell.......

Martin

I mean not to be negative in my response, but we must "think positive" and have
a "Can do attitude", If we don't think it's worth doing, and don't do it, it
will never get done. If we think we can, and try, we may fail, but the odds
are better for success. ~ Martin
