Both of the Millers I've acquired had the Beveridge/Cascade replacement drives (Lindsay HO gearboxes, Sagami motor, fabricated brass gear tower with delrin chain); I believe, from persusing past issues of S scale magazines that at one time NWSL offered a powering kit, although mostly for the Railmaster line. Speaking of which, perhaps the North Yard chassis would answer. And one can always try ingenuity by regaging a good HO mechanism with S scale wheelsets.
