Several recent messages clearly use the word MANDATORY and that is what 
prompted my tirade here.  The writers of those messages were very clear with 
their intent.

It all depends on who "they" is.  Some folks are more knowledgeable than 
others.  Read back over the messages on this general subject on this list and 
you will see what I mean.

The point I am making is that isolating the frogs is NOT MANDATORY.  This is 
the ONLY point I am making.  I am making no attempt to state that one approach 
is better or worse than the others.  Makes no difference what the throwbar is 
made from, my point is still the same -- isolating frogs is NOT MANDATORY.

You just described the Mighty NYC which has 75 turnouts and works just fine.  
No need to change anything.  Not one single isolated frog.  I would do it again 
if the opportunity arises.
