All month I've looked forward to Thanksgiving weekend, planning on doing much
on the layout.
I'm finding out that the 2 rail O scale was a cinch to tear out...to replace,
not so easy. Laying Shinohara flex into a **** crossing, I'm having to go back
and level the trackage, there's no forgiveness. My SD60s short out the
****crossing so now there's $50 shot to ****, and I don't have a working
crossing. I did get the long bridge guardrails in and they do look nice.
Spiked and glued 'em down.
Interesting, my SWs run thru the crossing ok.
S scale is a good bit like HO in that tracklaying must be exact to be
derailment free and I must have derailment free track.
Then, there's the Shinohara turnout thing...
I'm just going to stay away for awhile.
