I have a plastic `S'-scale model with molded floorboards and want to show heavy
wear/weathering by showing that the paint had worn off and the wooden boards
are showing through in the high-traffic areas.
There is not any fake wood-grain molded into the plastic floorboards, but there
is a slight rise to indicate individual boards.
The boards are going to be painted black and I want to indicate that the black
paint has worn away to expose the wood underneath.
As of this moment, I've primed this section of the model, but haven't gone
beyond that.
Any suggestions?
