That was when I embarked on building the World's Greatest Layout instead of 
something I could handle, like the Iowa Central

Had I known what the future held, SHABBONA could have been IOWA CENTRAL, and 
the locomotives could have had a pseudo-Rock Island  red and black color scheme 
instead of the pseudo-Santa Fe zebra stripes.

Another thing that hit me like a speeding ice ball to the side of the head in a 
school yard snowball war when I was knee deep in locomotive zebra striping was 
ICRR's simple "Black Beauty" locomotive scheme.

Nonetheless, I'm over the hump on those things, and I like the way they have 
turned out.
