You can start with an individual issues or use the search for an article by topic, etc. You can print a single page or a single page range, or at least that's the way it works with my printer. So you can print one page, the pages for one article or an entire issue with one print operation. There is also a print to file option but I haven't tried it. You can also save to a "favorites" section within the MR program.
You do have an options of just loading the program and keeping the magazine files on the DVD's or just loading your "favorites" besides the load everything option. I have all the files loaded, but the other options are ways around limited memory as long as you have a DVD drive. First, are the PDF files broken down by monthly volumes, or by individual pages? I guess what I am trying to say is, if you wanted to print an entire article that is several pages long, can you do it in one step, or must it be done as one print operation per page? Second, is it possible to select a single issue from the DVD archive, and "save" or "print" it to a file that could then be moved to another computer, either on a CD o DVD, or using a cable or blue tooth network? If a complete issue can be moved to a different computer on a network, it seems like it should also be possible to move it to an iPad, or maybe even to iCloud.
