I found the unit very interesting, however you seem to need a degree from MIT 
in order to get it to program. Digitrax or soundtracks would be much better. 
Still too much "toy" about it to be scale. Looks nice though.

Earl makes a good point and I hope everyone on this and other lists writes to 
Lionel to educate them on the best way to succeed in the S scale market. Ed L.
