There were a few On30 modelers lurking in the shadows over the years, probably
fewer than there were in S. Yet On30 struck the cord that S somehow missed.
Amazing how one company can change the face of model railroad world, though
isn't it?

Things like command control and sound were always a model railroaders dream.
It was a market waiting for technology to make it happen. Anybody remember

Well Ed, it's what happens and gets amplified during a period of stagnation.
Take a look next door on S-Tains. What are they talking about? Not
Challengers and U33's, but Erector Sets!
By the way, one fella over on the OGR board received his U33C's. He reports
they run MUCH better than shown in the Lionel video.
