Funny, in the first shot I thought that was ground cover (like ground foam), second photo I realized it was carpet! Probably the scale buildings, roads, etc. look more like a layout as opposed to the standard Plasticville or Christmas Village buildings.
It is a nice looking unit. The comments about a tilt to the body and parts dropping out are a tad worrisome. Pieter E.
