I just opened a little on line buy one-=get one type sale. So I have a
couple of question to those who may own these items and your experiences
with them.
One is the 26101 push drill--might this be an alternative to Bud's
powered mini drill. I think the bigger version was called a "Yankee drill".
The other is the 60929 mini clamp set. I have purchased some clamps
that actually leave a mark in the wood surface and I have some xacto
brand clamps that barely hold anything. Anyone using these particular
style of clamps?
I have found that Micro-Mart is a modelers version of Wal
Mart--generally good stuff with some exceptions. With that in mind I
have a couple of those battery powered paint mixers--wonderful product,
IF you remember to turn it off before removing the mixer from the paint
jar! They also sell a hand operated wood/styrene cutter that is great
for anything about the size of a tie. It makes for great cutting of
random length switch ties in short order. The downside is that mine
seems to be loosing it's crisp cutting edge and I don't have a clue how
to sharpen it.
